Important customer information

 

Right to cancel – Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

You have the right to cancel this contract (purchasing of goods) within 14 days without giving any reason.

The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods. If the goods are delivered separately, it is when physical possession of the last good.

To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us Wales Archery Specialist (address; Crick Manor, Crick, Nr Caldicot, Monmouthshire, NP26 5XU. Telephone number; 01291 420 321 & e-mail address: info@walesarchery.com) of your decision to cancel this contract by clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or e-mail).

To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.

 

Effects of cancellation:

If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least ex-pensive type of standard delivery offered by us).

We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.

We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied.

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the full goods back.

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us at Wales Archery Specialist Crick Manor, Crick, Nr Caldicot, Monmouthshire, NP26 5XU without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. Please note you are solely responsible for the safe return of the goods to us, if you have any queries please contact us before sending.

You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Please note that some products are exempt, and cannot be returned after processing of your order has begun. Examples of such products include goods made to your specifications or modified from the manufacturer's original specifications by your request. These include, but are not limited to, arrow shafts cut to your length, arrows that have been fletched and custom made bowstrings. Audio, video or computer software in sealed cases cannot be returned if the seal is broken.

 

Pricing:

All prices include VAT @ 20%, but do not show delivery costs, this is calculated in the shopping basket. 

You get the same great price no matter how you shop with us, in store, on line, or via the phone.

All prices on walesarchery.com is in UK Pound Sterling.

 

Making a Purchase:

If you are unsure of what you need or of which product best suits your requirements then  pay us a visit in the showroom where we can guide you. However, if you are certain about your requirements and wish to purchase through our website the process couldn't be easier. Simply brouse through the online catalogue, add the required products to you basket and then follow the on screen instructions to complete the order process. 

 

Why Are Some Products Only Available In Store Or By Phone?

The reason for some products been available in the showroom or by phone only is the individuality of the equipment. For example the Longbows with their varying weights, draw lengths and differing woods used in construction means each bow is a unique, individual product. The main and most important reason is for us to ensure that you purchase the correct equipment to suit your requirements and are therefore a happy customer.

 

Order Processing / Shipping:

We aim to process each order with-in 1 -3 working days of receiving it. If a product is marked "special order" the processing period for this product would have been stated in the product information section for that product.

Shipping cost are calculated by the final weight of the shopping basket or the length of the item being ordered.

Small orders (packet post) will be shipped First Class Royal Mail, This service usually takes 1-2 days, however you must allow up to 15 working days under Royal Mail's current delivery terms. Large items (over 15kg in weight or over 1 metre in length) will be shipped with Parcel Force. The service we use with Parcel Force will either be 24 hours or 48 hours (working days) delivery option. If the order is valued over £50.00 it may be sent via Royal Mail recorded delivery. This service usually takes 1 - 2 days, however you must allow up to 15 working days under Royal Mail's current delivery terms.  

If your order has not arrived within the expected time, please e-mail us at info@walesarchery.com and we will provide you with an online Tracking Number (this option is not available for 1st Class Royal Mail post).

Our Post & Packing rates are based on a mainland UK delivery address.  If you live in the highlands and Islands of Scotland, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Channel Islands or are an international customer, we will contact you prior to your order being dispatched to confirm your individual postage rate.  

If your item is not in stock, we will contact you to either back order the item, offer an alternative or refund the cost of the item, if a cancellation is required we will require a confirmation of this via an email (info@walesarchery.com). If the product is back ordered we reserve the right to make adjustments to the price to take into account any changes that may have occurred during this period, i.e. increase in product costs or the imposition of any taxes or duties. We will always contact you prior to shipping to see whether you wish to proceed or cancel.

Please note due to the length of Longbows we are unable to send them out side of the UK mainland.

 

Order via Website for In-Store Collection.

 

We are quite happy for you to order your items online and pick them up in person from our showroom.  Your order will be packed as if it is been shipped to you.

Please do not travel to our store until you have received a confirmation e-mail that your order is ready for collection. Please bring proof of identification and a copy of your order.

By ordering online our customers receive our exclusive online prices due to the different time demands involved.  However, when you come to collect the items, but require advice, tuning or help setting the items up the additional showroom price will be charged. 

 

International Customers:

Our Post & Packing rates are based on a mainland UK delivery address.  If you live in the highlands and Islands of Scotland, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Channel Islands or are an international customer, we will contact you prior to your order being dispatched to confirm your individual postage rate. Or alternatively contact us first (info@walesarchery.com) and we will provide a quote for the shipping cost before you order. 

 

Guarantee:

The guarantee period is strictly 12 month's from invoice purchase date, regardless of any warranty replacements.
All products sold are brand new, as supplied directly from the respective manufacturers or distributors, unless purchased from the second Hand page. Products bought from the Second Hand page come with a 30 day guarantee.

 

Damaged Items:

If you receive a parcel which is damaged, please mark “Damaged” on the delivery note when signing for the parcel.
If the parcel is signed for as “in good condition” and the damage has not been recorded, the contents cannot be claimed for and the loss will be at the customer's expense.

 

Faulty Items:

We hope no products becomes faulty, but in the unfortunate situation a product does become faulty within the guarantee period, please e-mail us at info@walesarchery.com, where we will provide you with a Returns Form. We will also discuss the best way to get the product back to us, please do not send anything back without contacting us first. If the product does prove to be faulty, we will refund the return postage or would have arranged a carrier to collect it.

 

Complaints:

We hope you will never find reason to complain, we do understand that sometimes things go wrong. If for any reason you are dissatisfied with our service please tell us about it.
