Being a professional youth worker, I’d always enjoyed archery tasters during activity weekends and so then looked for a beginners course in 2016 as a hobby me and my husband could do together.

I began shooting recurve for around 3 years and then switched to compound in summer 2019.

Felt I was progressing well but then the pandemic hit, so have been glad to increase shooting and developing skills back again since, as well as having some great coaching to iron out lots of bumps!

I’m now a Level 1 Coach as well as Social Secretary, Tournament Organiser, & Child Protection Officer for our local archery club, Tockington Archers. Small archery clubs certainly keep busy people busy!!

I’ve shot in various local and regional tournaments and highlights include shooting for the Gloucestershire County team since 2021, and winning the Grand Western Archery Society (GWAS) Championships at Dunster in summer 2023.

I love nothing more than a colour scheme so you can often spot me accessorising to whatever colour bow I have! :)
