Grace Chappell -

I started shooting in 2015 at Deer Park Archers. I have been on the National Compound Development Youth Squad and the National Compound Youth Squad and now I am on the Senior Compound GB Squad.

In 2019 I won the 1st stage of the European Youth Cup in Slovenia and became Female Under 18 National Champion and Overall Female Junior National Champion at the Junior Indoor Nationals. I finished 5th in Junior Women Compound at the Indoor World Series stage in Nimes.

In lockdown, I was lucky enough to shoot a good amount, and in 2021 I won individual silver at Youth Festival, attended the World Youth Championships in Poland, came 6th at the National Tour Final and came 2nd at the Junior Masters. I also attended the European Indoor Championships 2022, placing 4th in qualification, 9th overall; I was part of the compound under 21 women’s team who placed 3rd after qualification and 4th after the bronze medal match.

In the summer of 2022, I was part of the Junior compound women's team in the European youth cup in Romania and the Europeans Youth Championships, winning team silver in both. I also won individual bronze at the European Youth Championships as well as 3rd in the European Youth Cup rankings.

In December 2022, I came 2nd at the National Indoor Championships and 5th in Back2Back.

I was chosen for the European Indoor championships in February 2023, however, due to the Earthquake in Turkey it was cancelled.

I have travelled to Turkey, China, Colombia and France for World Cups in 2023, with my highest-ranking 9th in both Shanghai and Paris; pushing my world ranking to 60th.

In Shanghai I was part of the compound women’s team where we finishing 4th, which pushed us up to world number 1 spot, for the first time in history.
