Isabel Plowman-

My name is Isabel Plowman, age 15 from Newnham Archery Club, Gloucestershire and I love to shoot barebow.

I started archery in 2019 after having been introduced to the sport through my primary school. Shortly afterwards, I began to compete in tournaments, which lead me to be selected to shoot for the county team. Within my first year, I managed to achieve my JMB and have done so each year since.

At JNOC 2021 and 2022 I got a silver medal in the U16 Ladies Barebow and attended the JNIC in 2021 for the first time and placed 3rd in the ranking round but sadly missed out on the bronze medal in the head to heads. I also went to the Youth Festival this year and came 2nd in the ranking round, getting two county records. I then got through the final in the Orangery and was really proud to get a silver medal.

I’m looking forward to seeing what more I can achieve in the future with the support of my family, friends and coach.
