My name is Liv Morledge, I’m 15 years old and I have been doing archery for 3 years. I’m from Somerset and my club is Burnham Company of Archers. I first started archery because of the film trilogy Narnia!
My proudest moment in archery would be when I became a national silver medallist at my first ever junior nationals in the U16s category. I’m also very proud of when I became county champion for the third year in a row at the Somerset junior county championships. Thirdly, when I made it into the bronze medal match at the final stage of the Junior Archery Series. I also currently have 3 county records!
Some interesting facts about me is that my dad is from Nottingham “the city of Robin Hood” and so we joke that I have Robin Hood genes in me which is why I love archery so much! I love listening to music and my favourite artists are Oasis and Jake Bugg. (I have Jake’s Guitar Pick!) As well as participating in sports, I love Formula One and support Chelsea FC.
I was honoured to be selected to join the Wales Archery Sponsored team and I’m super happy to wear my team shirt at the competitions I go to and most importantly do what I love!
