Louise Bassett:

I have been shooting for 2 years, after completing my beginner’s course in the autumn of 2020. I initially shot recurve for a few months and then moved to compound after a little convincing from my coach Steph Gill. 

I started entering tournaments in July 2021. Some of my achievements so far include becoming National under 16 Indoor Champion 2022 and being selected to shoot for GB in the European Youth Cup in Switzerland 2023. 

I have had the privilege of representing England twice – one being for the under 21’s at Youth Festival 2022 and the other at the Junior Indoor National Champs 2022.  

I am currently a year 10 student. My other hobbies include playing clarinet, saxophone, and bass guitar and taking photos of places I visit across the country.
