Rikki Teml -
I have been shooting since May 2016, before that I shot rifles. My wife suggested doing an archery beginners course together and I haven’t looked back since.
Initially I started as Barebow but later switched to compound, partially due to a disability I have which meant I struggled with the heavier draw weight bows as I moved up the distances.
I have shot both target and field archery at various local, regional, and national tournaments; along with shooting for Gloucestershire County team since 2019. I am also a coach and a judge.
My proudest achievement to date was when I was selected for the Welsh national team in 2022, shooting at the Commonwealth Archery Championship Europe in Scotland.
I am pleased to represent Wales Archery Specialists and thank them for all the fantastic support they continue to give me.
