Vegas 2016

Las Vegas was once again host to the one of the biggest indoor events of the archery calendar.  2016 also marked the 50th anniversary of the shoot and hosted the final stage of the Indoor Archery World Cup.  


With a record breaking 3000+ competitors, the competition was tough for the top prize of $50,000.

In the World Cup Finals, Hoyt was seen on the podium in all the categories -

Mackenzie Brown (USA) took Silver in the womens recurve.
Brady Ellison (USA), Alexander Kozhin (RUS) and GYE Dong Hyun (KOR) took Gold, Silver and Bronze in the mens recurve.
Sandrine Vandionant (FRA) and CHAE Won So (KOR) took Silver and Bronze in the womens compound.
Jesse Broadwater (USA) took Gold in the mens compound.

As for the Vegas tournament, 2 of the 5 perfect scores (900 out of 900) were shot by Hoyt shooters.  George Ryals (USA) and Reza Zamaninejad (USA).


As the competition continued, Hoyt began to dominate taking the top spot of the podium in three of the four categories -

Mens Compound - Gold: Sergio Pagni (ITA)
Womens Compound - Gold: Inge Van Caspel (NLD)
Mens Recurve - Gold:Brady Ellison (USA) Silver: Sean McLaughlin (USA)  Bronze:  GYE Dong Hyun (KOR)
Womens Recurve - Silver: Mackenzie Brown (USA)
